What's one thing you wished you'd known about podcasting when you started: That podcasting is SO difficult and time consuming for a perfectionist like me, and so boundaries are so important for me to find balance and be able to enjoy the craft and the many benefits podcasting has brought me.
In a few sentences tell me briefly, about one of your favorite episodes or interviews from your podcast: My first episodes are with my sista circle. They are my support system and are family to me. They are the number one tool that I use to overcome my imposter syndrome and to affirm and support me when I experience racial toxicity in or out of work. It only made sense to have them join me to kick off my first season. Recording these episodes were so much fun and it was a great way for me to get my feet wet with low pressure (since they would laugh WITH me and not AT me when I inevitably while I fumbled through the logistics and tech of podcasting).
What are 3 resources or tips you've learned in your podcast journey:
1) Perfectionism is the enemy of done. 2) Having a network of podcasters is invaluable. 3) Turn on the mic/camera before hitting record.
